How to get to Crans-Montana for skiing from GVA
Crans-Montana is about 185 km from Geneva Airport — roughly 2 h 6 min by car in normal traffic. The motorway runs along Lake Geneva and up the Rhône valley to Sierre, then the road climbs to the plateau. A private car costs $620 (≈ CHF 511) per car, fixed day and night, with winter tyres, snow chains and room for skis. Prices checked .

Car or funicular from Sierre?
By train you change at Sierre for the funicular up to Montana — fine without skis. With luggage and children the car is door to door on the plateau, Crans or Montana.

Winter driving: tyres, chains, skis
From November to April our cars run on winter tyres and carry snow chains; the driver decides when to fit them. Skis and boot bags fit — tell us how many pairs when you book so we send a car with enough space.
Saturdays in high season are change-over days: allow extra time to and from the airport.
How does the pickup work, and what if my flight is late?
The driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign. We follow your flight, and 60 minutes of free waiting start from the actual landing — so a late landing at night is covered. The price is fixed per car, the same day and night.
Pay 50% online to confirm, the rest in cash to the driver — or 100% online. Trips under $100 are paid in full online. Full refund if you cancel 24 hours or more before pickup. Prefer WhatsApp? Book there at the same price.
